Inventory Conditions & Grading

What is the difference between Shelf Pulls, Customer Returns, and Salvage?

We categorize our liquidation merchandise into three primary grades to help you set resale expectations:

  • Shelf Pulls (90%+ Retail Ready): Overstock items that were displayed in stores but never purchased. Packaging may have retail stickers or minor wear, but the merchandise itself is brand new and functional.
  • Customer Returns (Varying Condition): Items returned by retail customers. While some are completely unused "open-box" items, others may show signs of use, have cosmetic defects, or missing accessories. We recommend these for buyers comfortable testing/sorting inventory.
  • Salvage (As-Is / Parts): Items that are damaged, heavily used, or missing major components. These are sold strictly for parts, repair, or scrap value.
Do you cherry-pick or search your pallets?

Absolutely not. We operate on a strict 100% transparency policy. Every pallet we receive from major retail distribution channels is sold exactly as we receive it. We do not filter out high-value brands, electronics, or designer products to sell separately. Our business thrives on long-term relationships with volume buyers, which requires complete integrity in our stock pipeline.

Where does WholeSale Pallet Trader source its inventory?

We maintain direct contracts with major US department stores, national home improvement chains, and global e-commerce retail networks. By bypassing intermediate brokers and processing shipments directly through our distribution center in Passaic, New Jersey, we are able to offer raw, competitive pricing on tier-1 closeouts.

Manifests & Ordering

What is an "itemized manifest" and how accurate is it?

An itemized manifest is a downloadable Excel spreadsheet detailing every item on a specific pallet or truckload. It typically lists the UPC, item description, quantity, and original manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP).

Accuracy Expectations: In the liquidation industry, minor discrepancies can occur. We allow for an industry-standard variance of up to 10% in item count, description accuracy, or total retail value. Discrepancies within this 10% margin are not subject to compensation.

Are there any unmanifested lots available?

Yes. We frequently offer unmanifested "mystery" pallets and bulk truckloads. These are typically priced significantly lower than manifested lots, offering incredible margin potential for seasoned flea market vendors, bin store owners, and discount retail operations.

Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Our minimum order is **one physical pallet**. However, to optimize your shipping rates, we strongly recommend buying in multi-pallet quantities, as national LTL carriers charge a flat minimum rate regardless of whether you ship one pallet or three.

Shipping, Freight & Local Pickup

How does LTL and Full Truckload (FTL) shipping work?

We coordinate freight shipping across the United States and Canada using major national carriers (like R&L, FedEx Freight, and TForce). Once your payment clears, we process your pallet and issue a Bill of Lading (BOL). We will upload tracking and shipping updates directly to your Buyer Portal dashboard.

Do I need a commercial loading dock to receive freight?

No, but you must let us know if you are delivering to a residential area or a business without a dock. If you do not have a forklift or loading dock, you must select "Residential Delivery" and "Liftgate Service" during your quote checkout. The carrier will then dispatch a truck equipped with a hydraulic liftgate to lower the pallets to ground level.

Can I arrange my own freight or pick up at your warehouse?

Yes. Self-pickups are highly encouraged at our main warehouse facility located at **220 Passaic St, Passaic, NJ 07055**. Pickups are strictly by appointment only (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM). If you choose to use your own carrier (3PL), you must supply us with your BOL PDF at least 24 hours prior to scheduled pick up.

💳

Payments, Tax ID & Policies

What payment methods do you accept?

Because wholesale liquidation deals operate at razor-thin margins, we accept payments exclusively via **Bank Wire Transfers** and **ACH direct deposits**. We do not accept credit cards, PayPal, or personal checks for final balances. Small card holds are occasionally authorized for temporary pallet reservations only.

Why do I need to submit a Resale Certificate?

We operate exclusively as a B2B wholesaler. To legally exempt your purchases from local state sales tax, we require a copy of your state-issued **Resale Certificate / Sales Tax Exemption ID**. If you do not provide this document before payment, we are legally required to add local New Jersey sales tax to your invoice.

Can individual consumers buy from WholeSale Pallet Trader?

Our target audience consists of retail stores, bin storefronts, eBay sellers, flea market vendors, and commercial export companies. However, individual public buyers are welcome to buy pallets if they accept our binding **Terms of Sale (all sales are final, strictly sold as-is)** and agree to coordinate their own freight or pickup logistics.
